Summary: HP support for this card is awful
Comment: This card doesn't fit the express card slot. It is a bit too small. I purchased this tuner with a new HP pc and it would not stay in the slot causing the computer to not recognize it most of the time!. If you touch it in the slightest bit, it will eject. It can get very hot. HP support is non-existent for this product. No software updates, no helpful phone support. I returned it to HP after they could not fix it reliably.

Comment: Good product to keep in one place, not necessarily move around with. Very easy to assemble and remove in seconds. High quality but it does get hot so try not to use it for prolonged time.

Comment: Setup was easy and getting channels was as well... It comes with more than enough acessories. It has two major flaws. I doesn't fit most expresscard slots- as it's a bit too small. Especially HP laptop slots. If you touch it in the slightest bit, it will eject. Also it can get very hot. Mine must have overheated and blew out after 4 months. HP support is non-existant for this product. No software updates, no phone support, no warrant repairs (even though the warranty should be 1 year).

Comment: beware of 2nd party purchase or just this product. the tv tuner almost shorted out a laptop computer..the product has a static problem or 2nd party selling defective merchandise. expensive learning experience.

Comment: I purchased this card through Amazon and was amazed at how good it worked. My wife, sho usually doesn't want me to spend the money on gadgets was amazed and agreed that it was money well spent.
We used the unit on our trips in our RV until I reached for the antenna and, charged with static electricity, blew the digital side out.
If you get one, be very careful of static electricity if you need to move the antenna.
We will buy another unit tomorrow...
