Summary: It's good enough
Comment: I bought it because it was being offered at a great price. The remote works well to control all my components but it has its quirks. I find myself having to press the help button often when the remote forgets to shut off the TV. Though, I have been too lazy to call up Logitec's customer service to see if there is a more permanent fix. Also, it would have been nice to include designated DVR buttons like the higher end models, but it isn't too much of a pain especially considering the price I paid ($50)

Summary: Home Theater for the Technically Challenged
Comment: Bought this for my wife so she could use the home theater setup without stress. Before, it was: turn on TV, switch to hdmi input, turn on dvd, turn on surround, switch input to dvd, and press play. Then there was the confusion of what remote controls the sound. With this remote, all she needs to do is press watch a movie and it does it all. When she is done, she presses watch tv. Yay! no more calls at work for tech support.

Summary: Harmony remote
Comment: This was the least expensive remote ($60 on sale)I could find to operate my new Viewsonic 32" TV (n3251w) as well as the Direct TV R-15 DVR. The TV was the issue as new Viewsonic have a unique code.
Anyway the remote works well. Online setup was simple and straight forward. The buttons I use the most are relatively small and grouped fairly close together. I've had it for over a month now and ocassionally I still need to still push the light key to see the button and push the right key. Also, I hardly ever watch live TV and use the DVR to playback my shows. The buttons to work the fast forward, rev, pause, etc., are located at the very bottom two rows of the remote. Bad place for these keys, it's almost a two handed operation to push them.

Summary: Does exactly what it promises.
Comment: I bought this remote in hopes of corralling the multiple remote landscape. After setting up the various units online, it downloaded the proper codes and transferred those codes into the remote. It worked! Admittedly I had to go back and tweak some settings, but it's not that hard, especially if you're comfortable with online interaction. I really like the help function on the remote. If something doesn't come on as promised, hit the help key and a nice text message comes on the screen asking what didn't turn on and it will correct it. I like that! The remote has a nice screen which works for me (the male) and my wife who doesn't want to know the particulars but just wants it to work.
