Summary: Old and Young Alike Will Appreciate the Remote you can't possibly lose!
Comment: This remote is a must for that family member who misplaces the remote and always assumes someone else has it. If this one gets lost, there is a serious problem! Large, easy to read buttons and simple layout are a welcomed sight to those who are tired of pushing the wrong button. It will always be a conversation piece with those who visit as well. Given originally as a joke, it was a requested gift by many for upcoming birthdays or holidays. Durable and able to maintain up to eight other electronic items, this remote is big in value, size and fun!

Summary: Frustrating error in the manual
Comment: My Morotola cable box was not listed in the manual. So, I had to scan for the code. Problem was, the SCAN INDTRUCTIONS in the manual were INCORRECT. Evidently they were written for a prior version of the Jumbo. They say to press the ON/OFF button "REPEATEDLY" to scan from one code to the next. NOT SO! Only press it once to start the scanning sequence. The red LED will blink all by itself for each code attempted. Wait for the selected device (TV, VCR, etc.) to power off, then press the ENTER button IMMEDIATELY, before it steps to the next code. This captures the last code attempted, the one that shut down your device.
If your LED does not blink repeatedly all by itself, then you can assume you have an old versin of the Jumbo. In that case, follow the instructions and press the ON/OFF button yourself for each new code you want to try.
Remote control help sites are full of requests by frustrated buyers looking for help. I gave the Jumbo a low rating because of the erroneous manual and the incomplete code list.

Comment: This remote works with all my TV's and DVD. Bought is after losing 2 remotes. It is nice and big. No danger for throwing it out by mistake. Too bad it does not have a button for the DVRecorder.
