Summary: Works Great until it Breaks!!
Comment: I purchased this to amplify the signal from a DTV antenna on my roof before splitting the signal to 3 rooms in my house. The product worked excellently to bring in distant channels and to eliminate local channels from dropping their signal. The only problem is that the first signal booster failed after 1 month, and the replacement that was sent to me from Amazon failed after about another 6 weeks. I am hesitant to try for yet another replacemnet, but I have not found another product that works as well as this one.

Comment: I highly recommend the Motorola Signal Booster. After I installed a new High Definition TV and cable box in the room over my garage, I was only able to receive some of the new channels. And the channels I was able to pull in would cut out or pixelate every few seconds. After hunting around for a solution, I came across the Motorola Booster. I installed the booster between the cable splitter and the cable box. Now everything works great. My pictures are crystal clear, I receive all the channels I am supposed to and there is no noise on any of the channels.

Comment: Connected all the wires and plugged it in. It did not work at all. Now, I have to return it.
Does cold weather effect it? The UPS guy just dropped it off. I waited for it to warm up. Did the freeze damage it?

Comment: I currently have a satellite box in my living room for that TV as well as as extra coax drop that runs to my bedroom TV. Both TVs share the same signal from the sat receiver, but the bedroom signal always had static in the picture because of the coax cable length (approx 50 feet). I added the booster to the coax line (at the sat receiver end) and it cleared up the static right away. Great product!
