Summary: Best Flying Saucer I ever bought
Comment: It is working great. Bought it to use in a church to remote control the Epson projector mounted from the ceiling. Base unit sits on piano and is pointed towards the projection screen (just a matt white screen). It is about 20 feet from the screen (which is about 13 feet from the projector) and it works great. Just added battery to the remote and worked the first button push. Only issue was that the batteries took about 2 1/2 days to come to full charge, but with two batteries this will not be an issue.

Comment: This remote extender is exactly what we were looking for. I read other Amazon reviews before purchasing, and decided to buy it. We now can watch our DVR on the TV in the basement and work out. Healthy multi-tasking!! Like I read previously, it does eat up batteries quickly, but since it has a charger in the base, it is no problem. It even warns us that the battery is low and that we will need to change it. The base is nice and small, very discrete, and we had no problem installing it.

Comment: This is a great product. I have used it for over a year and do not have any problems at all. Whenever it starts acting oddly, I just replace the old with the new transmitter or the AA battery and viola- it works perfectly. My whole AV setup is two rooms away from my plasma TV. I highly recommend this product and have done so with friends and relatives who also love it.

Summary: Does not work with the at&t uverse remote
Comment: This device works very well with certain remotes. However there are others with which it will not work at all. As Murphy's law dictates, in my case the remotes that don't work work are those I really need. At first I thought the unit was faulty or I had incorrectly installed it, as it wouldn't receive a signal from either my At&t U-verse remote or my Sharp LCD tv remote. However, trying several older remotes, it worked very well with my Pioneer receiver remote and my Sony VCR remote.
I am very irritated that the device is sold without a warning that is is completely useless with several common modern remotes. Check on the web to see if it works with your specific remote before buying one of these.
