Summary: Great item!!!
Comment: This product solved a problem of having the DirecTV receiver in the basement for my television mounted in the wall in the kitchen on the first floor. I charged the battery for the time it said in the instructions and replaced one of the two batteries in my remote with the transmitter unit. The base is sitting in front of the receiver unit in the basement and the thing just worked. It's nice to find a product that just plain works like it's suppose to. I would highly recommend this item to anyone interested in hiding their electronic equipment and not wanting to spend hundreds of dollars on the "high end" remote extenders.

Summary: Worked for 2 days!
Comment: Worked well for 24 hours and then it became extremely difficult to select anything - you would have to push buttons 9-10 times before the device would recognize the signal. I read all the reviews and thought i would give it a shot for the price. i am going to buy a more expensive IR Repeater system instead. I would not recommend.

Summary: Works with Vista Media Center
Comment: I have tried a Radio shack and Terk brand IR repeater. Both were horrible. the IR receiver on my PC was constantly on. this was daytime, nighttime, with lights on and off.
this item worked perfectly, and i didnt have to try to hide any wires or boxes. people dont even know media center is upstairs.
sometimes simpler is better. and this is definitely simple.

Summary: Incredible Device
Comment: I was looking for a universal rf remote control when I came across this little gizmo. Situation is that we have our stereo in the closet as that is where the speaker outlets are and the TV is across the room. I found an audio transmitter/receiver to get the signal from the TV to the Stereo, but still had to go to the closet to adjust volume and turn stereo off. I then read all the reviews for this guy and decided to give it a try. After charging the batteries overnight, I popped the battery in and hooked the saucer up in the closet. just like that everything worked perfectly. Also, one other suggestion is to get the All in One Universal Remote. I think I got that for $15 at the same time and it works really well. Complete control of all devices for a great value.
