Summary: WORTH THE MONEY
Comment: I purchased this tv three years ago ($1200) to put into my entertainment center. At the time, the Sony and Samsung were rated very high for a 32" screen size. After careful review I decided for the price and quality the Panasonic was a better choice. I am now in the market for another tv that size and I decided to google the same model # and see that the price is less than half. I will certaintly be purchasing another Panasonic TC-32LX50.

Comment: Outstanding picture and performance. Even the speakers are good. I have used it for a month and have been very well satisfied. Setup was quick and easy. My old antenna with rotor picks up 36 channels of HDTV in the Buffalo/Rochester area.
The old videos on tape and CD look better than ever. I looked at many models and Panasonic was always among the very best.
This was an exceptional value.

Comment: I ordered this TV from BuyNow, based on a review from CNET. They said the picture on this TV was the best they've seen, except for the Samsung LN32A450. The Samsung is $100 more than this TV, and I could barely justify $500, so I got this one. I don't regret it. It's got a wonderful picture, decent sound, and my Xbox 360 looks great on it.
I mis-read the connections, and thought it had two component plugs. I was planning to put my Xbox on one component input and my DVD player on the other. Instead, I've got my DVD/VCR hooked up to a composite connection. The picture into that input isn't ideal, but it's still pretty decent, and if I want to play DVDs I just play them through my Xbox and it upsamples for me.
My Tivo looks great on the S-Video connection, too, although the TV is so accurate that we can clearly see the compression artifacting in programs that are recorded in "Basic" mode. I'm going to have to get used to that. That's a good thing, though, since it shows that the picture on this TV is that much better than the one on my 27" Trinitron.
So, if you're looking for a great 32" TV at a reasonable price, this is your best bet. We'll have to see how it holds up quality-wise, but I'm pretty confident since Consumer Reports rates Panasonic as one of the most reliable brands.
Oh, and by the way, I'm very satisfied with how BuyNow treated me. I ordered this TV, and when I got it I was upset at myself for not realizing that it didn't have enough component ports, and I wrote to BuyNow asking to send it back. They got back to me 2 days later with a RMA authorization and a prepaid UPS label and everything. I decided to keep the TV once I got it hooked up (I realized I would have to compromize on picture if I went with a different model, or pay more for the Samsung), but I was surprised and pleased that they accepted my request without fuss.

I went to my friends house who has a 42 inch 1080i lcd tv. I thought 1080i was better, they used blu-ray, it looked good but from 6 feet away there there were weird dots and stuff near the image, none with this panasonic.
