-The purchase went through quickly, and the product was delivered 5 days early.
-The TV arrived in fantastic shape, and the (free) white glove delivery was a nice touch.
-I did have to help the delivery person get the TV into my living room, and he would not put it on the stand (not a big deal)
-The TV itself has fantastic picture quality, and standard definition media looks surprisingly good (near HD itself) from 10-12ft away.
-Standard definition media (basic cable) will stretch to fit the screen if not filmed in wide screen format, and is hardly noticable
-The TV is very stable on the stand, and is balanced well.
If you want a good HDTV, I recommend this set. I am very pleased.

Summary: Worth every penny and probably more
Comment: This is my first large tv purchase and I could not be happier. I auditioned this set along with the 40" 650 series Samsung LCD at Tweeter. The Panasonic wins hands down on PQ. The blacks are so dark on this set that I sometimes cannot see where the screen ends and the bezel begins! There is absolutely no motion blur and Blu-ray discs look incredible. I am taking it easy for the panel's first 100 hours only watching full screen since plasmas are most vulnerable to burn-in or image retention during the first 100 hours of the panel life. After that it is good to go. I highly recommend.

Comment: If you are like me you are reading this review partly because you are hesitant about ordering an item like this online. I am very glad I ordered this model on Amazon. One week was all it took to arrive at my house from the time I ordered. Tracking the package was fairly easy and once I saw it was in town I called the delivery company. They were very accommodative and made sure I got my TV that day before the long holiday weekend. As far as the picture goes, it is incredible and I'm still using regular DirecTv service. My existing box does not have HDMI or Component outputs but the S-Video cable was noticeably better than the regular yellow video cable. Can't wait for HD!

Summary: Sweet new toy!
Comment: After 2 months of researching my HD options, I came to the conclusion that plasma was the technology for me. As much as my wife and I watch fast action movies and sports, I was sold on the smooth motion that the plasmas offer. Because expensive toys don't come around our house too often, I knew I only had one chance to buy the right tv. After reading many reviews, and making multiple trips to our local electronics retailer, I decided on this panasonic. We were a little nervous ordering such an expensive item off of the internet, but after this experience, we are both in love with Amazon! They saved us lots of money on this purchase, and the "white glove" delivery service was so awesome! After recieving our tv, we were eager to see what this thing was really made of. I popped in a movie into the upconverting DVD player, and we lost ourselves in the sheer beauty of this tv's picture. Holy COW! I can't imagine what Blu ray would look like on this tv! I was absolutely blown away by the colors and sharpness and all aspects of the picture. I don't see the reason to rush into purchasing a blu ray player, as upconverting looks sooooo good! Even standard def TV was good! DO NOT THINK TWICE ABOUT BUYING THIS MODEL, YOU WILL LOVE IT! Thanks PANASONIC for creating such an affortable and beautiful work of art! Thanks AMAZON for the exceptional sevice!

Summary: Seems great so far.
Comment: Haven't utilized all its functionality quite yet but the High Def picture looks incredible. I have an older Mistsubishi HD projector and a newer 42 inch Samsung 720p HD plasma. The picture on the Panasonic is definitely the best. Probably paid a little premium to have the sync technolgy accross the Panasonic brand but hopefully when I start using that it will well worth it.
