Comment: This TV got 3rd on consumers reports MUST buy LCD's. The other two being a Sony priced in the mid-$3,000 range and a lower model Samsung. This TV is exceptional. It is a great buy and you get your money's worth out of it's quality. We have a Samsung DLP as well (3 1/2 years now) and couldn't be more thrilled with the quality of Samsung. They hold up and are great value for the money. Samsung will continue to get our business.

Comment: I've had my Samsung for a week and I'm very impressed. Watching Blu-Ray and HD DVD are fantastic. Have Dish HD and picture is incredible. Watching SD content on Dish is not to bad. It really depends on the signal you are receiving. Overall I very pleased with this purchase.

Summary: Was great for 24 hours...
Comment: After extensive reseach, my husband and I decided the Samsung 4671 was the tv for us. Amazon had a killer price and free shipping, so we bit the bullet and ordered the tv. It came quickly, the delivery service was great, and the tv was easy to set up. We bought and upconverting DVD player and watched "CARS" in absolute amazement. The picture was clear and beautiful! We were in love. The next day, I was watching another DVD, put the player on pause, and when I restarted the DVD, the TV went off. No blue light on the front, no repsonse when switching plugs, nothing at all. The tv was totally dead. We called Samsung, hoping for a quick fix. Well, there was no quick fix. They said that they would contact a repair company that they contract with and arrange for the tv to be looked at 2 days hence. When we contacted the repair company, they were very put out. They said they had a full schedule, and that they could not come out until Wed. We said fine. Then, they called again and said that these tv had a "faulty motherboard" and they would order the parts and that should fix the problem right up. Well, when they finally came out a week later and 1/2 off from work to meet them, that was NOT the problem and they would have to come back again. They did not take the tv w/them to fix it. We finally contact Amazon and asked that they replace the tv. Sadly, they are out of stock and will only do a refund. We cannot touch this tv anywhere else for the price we got from Amazon, so I guess we will not be reordering. If you buy a tv that is not a lemon, the picture is great, but I cannot recommend it in good faith after our experience.

Comment: Received the Samsung 46" HDTV four days before the estimated delivery date. Delivery went smooth as TV was setup on our TV stand and turned on to ensure that it worked before the delivery men left.
With the free shipping and $100 NFL.com rebate, I purchased this TV for $1,999 and have not seen it come down to that price since I purchased in December 07. Forget about purchasing at your local retailer who's prices ranged from $2,500 - $3,200. I have not gone wrong with Amazon on any of my purchases and this was the best purchase out of them all.
Upgraded to DirectTV High Def and wow what an amazing picture. I now just look for HDTV shows to watch as it's tough going back to a standard digital picture. First time, we watched Pirates of the Caribbean on DVD and my family's eyes were wider than I've ever seen, since being in Disney. Can't wait until more channels start playing high definition programming. For something that gets used everyday, I got my money's worth.

Comment: For all the issues I read about with this TV, I can honestly say it is the best buy out there. Th picture is absolutely incredible. My tv has no dead cells, TBE is not an issue and there is absolutely no stutter. I suggest this tv to anyone and everyone.
