Summary: Brand new or refurbished?
Comment: Bought this LCD a week ago from amazon. It's been at my house for three days now. I purchased the refurbished unit for $1714. When Eagle was delivering it and setting it up i thought it was a brand new unit. There isn't a scratch on it and it the picture is alot better than my plasma 50" I never liked LCD's before i seen this unit in CC. I don't like the screens with the matte finish (It kills color reproduction if you ask me). I paid 1000 less buying this refurbished unit then if i bought the unit at CC. I'm glad i bought this one. It makes my old standard def DVD's look like HD DVD's. Most wonderfull TV i have ever owened. Thanks amazon, and Eagle. Eagle even helped me move the 50" plasma to the bedroom. Will definetly buy my next TV from Amazon.

Summary: Great Product - LNT4671
Comment: This is an amazing TV set. The colors are vivid and the sound is awesome. Everyone is impressed by picure clarity and the depth of color. It is so real you feel you can touch the objects in the image. Even when connected to an analog source, the picture quality was superb. With HD, everything was kicked up several notches. You can't go wrong with this model. It was easy to set up and I've had no difficulty using it.

Summary: I WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE TO ONE STAR -SAMSUNG LACKS QUALITY CONTROL, AVOID THIS TV
Comment: My first set was defective and the backlight flickered, so I decided to exchange it. Amazon was good about the exchange, but the delivery guys actually dropped the old tv really hard and destroyed my wood floor. I am going to have to get an estimate for the damage, and the tv still seems to flicker, though not as bad as the first set. This one also has no stickers, which I find suspicious and it may be a refurbished set. Needless to say, I am disappointed, but it could just be the luck of the draw. Basically all I got out of the exchange was a lack of stickers, a dead pixel, and a severely gouged floor. I might exchange again for a Sony xbr4

Summary: Excellent TV for the $$$$
Comment: Spent several weeks researching and visiting TV retailers with my son. The quality of picture is excellent! Easy to mount - my HANDY 14 year old son installed the cantilever mount (purchased separately) and TV in about 3 hours total (most of that time was installing the cantilever wall mount).
TV supposedly had minor scratch damage, etc. - didn't find ANY damage to TV and SAVED several hundred $$$ vs. cost new!

Summary: The first time is always special...
Comment: This was my first HD TV. I also purchased a Panasonic BD30 Blu-Ray player. The two don't exactly play nice together, but when they do it is heaven. The TV picture is fantastic- I do get two channels of TV in HD, and it is spooky clear. I did have a Pixel go dead, but tech support talked me through the simple repair(rub it softly with a clean cloth when off). The Blu-ray picture is incredible, and otherwise makes the average pictures look good.
I am not sure though (in hindsight) that I would pay for the 120 Hz Fast Motion. I don't notice much of an improvement in the best conditions, but do notice it makes some analog signals appear in slow motion, so you then have to turn it off. In a couple years I may come to appreciate it more...
Overall while I feel I would have made some different decisions, the TV is great and meets most my expectations except I am having flickering issues when this TV plays with my Panasonic BD30 Blu-ray disk player in blue screen mode, and in DVD Upconversions... not sure who is at fault exactly. Otherwise this TV's picture is exceptional.
