Summary: Stand Is "Light"
Comment: - I have a 61" DLP on this stand & there is a slight, but noticable curvature in the top shelf. Also, the bottom shelf sags under the weight of my center channel speaker (40-50lb?). Compared to the prior DLP stand I had, this stand is poorly constructed. I'll be kicking it to the curb as soon as I find a decent deal on a well built stand.

I only wish it had a black backing so the cords would not show.

I read all the review's before purchasing this stand. After reading about some assembly difficulties and a few remarks about quality I was ready for a stand that was less than what I received. I was pleasantly surprised by the flexibility of the design, I have a 56" set but opted to set up the stand for a 50" and it worked out great for my application. I found the assembly to be very straight forward and easy to do. I would highly recommend this stand for any of the Samsung T.V. sets it is intended for. I think it complements the T.V. and accessories very well both astatically and functionally.

Comment: Nice unit fairly easy to assemble, just make sure you have some room to assemble it and perhaps on a carpeted area. I purchased the 61" DLP and this stand becomes quite wide for this TV. It almost seems to sag across the middle, but not bad. Nice finish, really goes well with the Samsung DLP's.
Mine was ordered just a week before X-mas 07 and arrived 3 days after ordering, in good condition. Free shipping and $199.00, cant beat that.

Comment: Well, the unit itself seems pretty sturdy and it does match well with the Samsung Units.
On the EXTREMELY poor side is Amazon's customer service and shipping promises. The 1st unit arrived in a beat up box which looked like it was literally thrown on the front porch. It has obviously been opened prior to arrival and there were visible scratches and "wood dents" when putting the unit together. One of the glass shelves was broken in half, which is strange considering that it is in the middle of the box surrounded by foam. Someone really had to beat the crap out of the box to break that glass. I contacted Amazon CS to have it replaced and they promised it would arrive on January 2, 2008, when the TV was going to be delivered.
Well the TV is here, the replacement unit for the defective stand is NOT and its January 3rd. Checking UPS, it was not even picked up until January 2nd. CS has been unresponsive via email inquiries.
Again, the stand is decent, nothing special, but serves its purpose if you want to take the chance on one arriving when promised and actually in once piece.
