Comment: I was going to get the new XBR4 series until i saw that this tv had nearly all the same features AND had almost a flawless review. All in all, this tv is AMAZING, i could not have made a better choice.

Summary: Amazon shipping procedures of my Sony bravia 52"
Comment: I recently bought my Sony 52" from Amazon. The buying experience on online with Amazon is amazing. The best price in the entire USA, product details etc are 21 century style but the shipping procedures need to be same as well. Two different tracking details one from Amazon with uncertainty, one from their transport company with different transit and delivery details made me monitor the delivery leaving my daily routine. Amazon can do a better job I know so that they stay on top all the time in online shopping.

Summary: Move up to Sony HD
Comment: Purchased the Sony Bravia KDL-52W3000 52" 1080p LCD HDTV after much research. I was really close to purchasing the Sharp LC-52D64U, but the Sony won out. The decisions was finalized when I was standing in a Best Buy and the Sony and the Sharp were side by side. It was plain to see which had the best picture, although the Sharp is a fine LCD as well.
Thus far the Sony has not disappointed one bit. After hooking it up the first channel my wife and I came to was the Food Network HD. All that I can say is WOW!!! The food looked better than being in Paula Dean's kitchen in person. Sports are great and the honeymoon is just beginning.
Amazon had the best price (by far) and the shipping was faster than expected. Kudos to Amazon!!! The only disappointment are the manuals. In some parts of the manuals you seem to have to fill in the blanks, but once you get it going stand back and enjoy!!!
