Comment: Very good value. I wish it had a button for off and on instead of power. My HK receiver needs an off code. I have made it work with another button but it isn't quite as nice. Othewise, I would have given 5 stars.

Comment: I looked all over for a universal remote. I finally found this one. My older equipment could not be programed so this one is a learner. If you have the older DirecTV Tivo this is the one for you. The learner is quick and easy. You cant beat it for the money.

Comment: Between my TV, DVD, home theatre and cable box, I was switching between four remotes to control all those devices. Like, how frustrating.
After researching this product and reading the reviews, I figured I couldn't go wrong for the price, so I purchased the product. I DO return things that don't live up to their promised performance and specifications, so the only risk is buying, trying - and returning, if necessary.
It's darn easy to program. If I want to watch TV, I have the A button programmed to turn on the TV, cable box and home theatre. If I want to watch a DVD, the B button is programmed to turn on the TV, cable box, home theatre and DVD player (don't think I needed to have the cable box turned on, but...oh well, I already did it). Just hit the A or B button to turn everything off.
You can't go wrong! Don't spend three times or more for something that does the same thing. I very highly recommend the Sony RM-VL600 - five stars!!!!! ***** :-)
