Summary: Good product for a pretty good price
Comment: I was pleasantly surprised by the signal quality with this product. I live about 20 miles from most of the towers in my area, but received all the digital signals cleanly 'most of the time'. There are some days when the antenna has to be 'tweaked' a bit for whatever reason, but for the most part it is pretty much `set and forget'. In my area, the antenna picked up the digital signals much better than analog signals.

Would have given it 5 stars, but the antenna cable was a bit shorter than I hoped. This could be a problem if your desire is to stick it on top of an entertainment center or more than 3' from the TV. I had a longer cable on an old antenna so I just swapped the cables around.

Summary: best thing I've tried thus far
Comment: This antenna worked better (for me) than the Philips SDV2210/17 UHF/VHF/FM/HDTV Indoor Antenna & the RCA ANT1500. Neither could get as clear a picture. Even thought this only gets VHF, I am able to pick up a station that is 39 mi away as clear as the one 22 mi away (which is the closest to me).

Comment: It was as good as any on the market. Still could not get but one or two channels.

Summary: missing parts
Comment: The antenna is great, pulls in more stations than my old rabbit ears BUT, on delivery, was missing a critical part. I contacted Audiovox and they sent a part, but it was the WRONG PART. I contacted Audiovox again; their customer service tried to convince me I didn't know what I was talking about. Finally, after multiple transfers and being kept on hold, their technical support division backed me up and I was mailed the right part. This took two weeks!!

Summary: Typical rabbit ears - it works but nothing special
Comment: The Terk TV-1 is your typical rabbit ears that works if you are in a good reception area and it does picks up HD. I have used two other antennas - a small portable $5 antenna and a $30 amplified antenna. My smaller antenna picked up all the HD channels I needed except NBC. The Terk did pick up NBC, but only if you orient it in a certain direction. However, the Terk wasn't as good as a $30 amplified antenna I used to have which picked up more channels than the Terk.

One annoying thing about the Terk is the adapter it comes with that goes into your TV's coaxial plug. It doesn't screw into the coaxial plug properly, but rather you just have to try to squeeze it on the TV and it doesn't fit perfectly. The antenna still works fine, but I think they could have just made a regular adapter that screws onto the TV.
