The VC-5A is an impedance protected stereo volume control capable of handling 150W of power. Multiple volume controls and loudspeakers (up to 32 pairs) can be connected to the amplifier without the need for separate impedance matching devices. The VC-5A automatically maintains impedance and provides a constant load to the amplifiers for protection. The 11 position switch offers smooth and accurate level adjustments. Subtle 1.5 dB steps on the first six positions, and 3 dB steps on the remaining four, provide smooth volume adjustments without abruptness. Wires connect via screw type terminal block, which accepts up to 12 gauge wire. Volume controls come with a "Decora-style" insert or can be used with a standard wall plate. Note: wall plate is included. Available in white or ivory.
