Summary: Amazon needs to stop shipping open return items out as new
Comment: For the second time in a year, Amazon has shipped me a returned product. The PDR Mount box was left on our porch and we found a hole in the box and a screw on the ground. Upon opening, there was an opened bag of screws and part of the mount had already been assembled. It hadn't been used. Luckily all the listed parts except for three washers were still in the box. I'll be calling PDR on Dec. 1st to report this to them. I'm sure they don't approve of this type of practice.

I wish Amazon would stop this practice of taking returned open items and shipping them out as new. I don't want to pay $100 for someone else's return. Amazon shipped me an opened Makita drill in the spring which I had to return. I doubt if I'll purchase from them again since they don't care what they are shipping out.

Amazon is normally good, but after back to back episodes like these, I don't want to have a hassle everytime I purchase something.

Comment: This thing is very easy to mount (about 15 minutes) and is very stable. I have an LG 42" LCD and it works great! I've had it for over a month now and it works very well. There also is a locking feature on it so the T.V. can not be removed.

Summary: "solid" best decribes it!
Comment: Just installed my new Samsung LN46A650 using this mount on to the Crate & Barrel Loop Media furniture. This mounting unit is very well built and solid. What's more is that it came with a whole bunch of bolts of varying lengths, plastic spacers and washers. Definitely a good product made by people who have pride in their product. The only thing I regret is not buying the fixed mount and saving $50. There is nothing wrong with the tilting mechanism, I just realized that I would not be using it, since the viewing angle of my Samsung is so wide.

My one question to the other owners of this mounting unit is "did you guys use the plastic spacers or not?" I used it because I didn't want the back of my TV damages by the vertical hooks. The spacers were nice but I was also thinking does it prevent the bolts from not screwing into the TV far enough? I may be just being paranoid.

Comment: I also bought this mount based on the reviews and couldn't be happier. I have a 50" flat screen and the mounting brackets fit to it with no problem. This is a lot cheaper than the mounts at Best Buy. Best price and great quality. I definitely recommend this mount.
