This helps achieve pure, rich, natural coloration that exceeds CRT displays and approaches European EBU standards for high-definition TV. The asymmetrical arrangement of the red, blue and green cells results in a dramatically improved light-emitting balance of the three primary colors. This reproduces purer whites while maintaining a high level of brightness.
