Comment: Take a pass. I couldn't get it to control any of my TVs or Cable boxes. Looks like something they're dumping, and not worrying about anyone sending it back. It's not worth returning, and certainly not worth buying.

Summary: Bigger Is Not Always Better
Comment: The remote is easy to program, easy to read, and easy to find. However, it is a little annoying to use. The buttons are large and rubbery. They're not unlike a normal remote, but the actual button underneath is the same size. If you don't hit the huge buttons right in the center it won't activate. It's pretty much guaranteed you'll have to use two hands to work this thing or use it while it's on a flat, hard surface. This may not sound like a big deal, but not all elderly people have the patience to use this remote. In the end we went back to using our older, smaller universal remote.

If you know someone who has trouble reading the buttons on the remote then get them new glasses, don't buy this remote.

If you know someone who has trouble finding the remote then attach a chain or a string to it, don't buy this remote.

Summary: NEVER LOST REMOTE!!!
Comment: I bought this because I was sick of losing my remote in the couch, or wherever. I haven't lost my remote ever since. My mother came to visit and her eyes widened when she saw it. So I bought her one, too, and we made the 12 year old granddaughter program it, because 12 year olds can do anything... Anyway, it's a little taller than a novel, and about half as thick. It's universal, so can control a DVD, satellite, and TV all at once.
Also, it's better than the more expensive one at Brookstone, because the up and down, and left and right buttons (the ones you use for a dvd player menu)double as channel up and down and volume up and down buttons... so if you're scrolling through the channels a lot and the buttons start to wear out (as they do on all remotes) you have a whole new set of buttons right there to use as back up.

Comment: This product is just funny and great for anyone who tends to loose their normal remote control. It was very easy to set-up and the instructions provided do very well at running you through it all. My girlfriend was very happy with it and still is.

Comment: I got this as a Christmas present for my grandmother who's over 80 years old and SHE LOVES IT! She used to forget where she had left the remote control until now, she loves how big the number are and she didn't take my gift in an offensive way, i just don't want her to keep on losing her remote controls.
Highly recommended for somebody with the same problem as my grandmother :)
