Comment: I am a bit reluctant to write this review because I am superstitious and do not want to jinx it, but this TV is great. It arived ahead of schedule, and the white glove delivery people (they had gloves but not really white - sorry about that) brought it on the elevator to my unit, unpacked it, placed it on my cabinet where it goes, and turned it on to see that it was OK. The whole bit about having it shipped (from who knows where) as opposed to buying it at a local store, was one of my main worries, and it turned out just fine.

Now to the TV itself. The picture is fabulous. I can not coment on the sound because I have the sound come through my surround sound system, and have turned it off at the TV.

I have 3 sources of propgramming. The main one is Direct TV HD, and it comes in at 1080i when the programming is in HD. The picture quality is excellent. My second source of programming is a Samsung blu-ray DVD player (1080p) and it is fabulous. The third source, which was a big surprise to me, was over the air TV. I am situated in the center of the city of Denver, and even with a really rinky-dink antenna I get all local digital channels really well.

Only one word of warning - with this (and any other) HD TV, you will notice that with programing that is not HD, particularly old classic programs, the picture actually looks worse that it might have on a good quality analogue TV. Right now having a program be in HD has become a significant criterea for me to decide to watch it.

I recommend this set very much.

Comment: We shopped around before purchasing this through Amazon. Best price was on line. TV picture is incredible - every generation of Samsung LCDs are better than the next.
We use a surround system, so can't comment on the sound quality.
We have the TV mounted on the wall, no problems, easy to do. The base is extremely heavy - you need 2 people to remove it.

Summary: First thing I said was WOW!
Comment: It was like the commercial with even the flea saying WOW. We went from a 32" LCD to the SAMSUNG 52". The picture quality in HD is amazing. The set was easy to hook up, I like the locations of the input jacks. Everything came up the first time. Even viewing stills from my digital is simple and awesome quality. Xbox games are like being in a movie, figures are almost life size. The internal speakers have good sound quality. The set itself is not that heavy, but recommend two people to lift it because of the size. It's aesthetic appearance is very pleasing also. The price was, at the time, at least $300 less than the closest competitor.

Summary: Simply Stunning
Comment: This product has the WOW factor straight from the box, It has a cool bezel and the picture quality is 2nd to none. Although I use a Receiver to interface to the TV and only use 1 HDMI connector the expansive I/O on this TV is impressive. I would have no hesitation in recommending this product to friends. The contrast ratio and white and black levels are very good so if you want to enjoy the Theatre experience then this product will get you there.

Comment: I just ordered this new HD 1080p TV and I love it!!! It had extremely fast shipping, nothing wrong with it when it arrived!! The only concern I had whne I got it was the reflection off the windows since i have windows surrounding my living room. It does reflect quite a bit of light, but when I close one of my main windows it reflects from even just a little bit, it's just fine. I mean, what TV doesn't reflect?? That's just the nature of the beast and I'm sure it's still better than a plasma. But, I have it wall mounted. Also, if you wall mount with an extending arm (like I do) just make sure you get one that will support the weight because I got a model that just does carry the weight and I have to angle the arm a little because the TV is heavier on the "input" side on the back of the TV. Just make sure your "wall mount arm" is mainly on that side to support the weight, or your TV will be crooked. I learned this the hard way and had mounted the TV, then had to redo it all because my wall mount arm was originating on the other side and it threw off the balance. Other than that...it's great now and I love it!!!!
